Master of European Social Security
The Master of European Social Security is an advanced master programme organised at the Faculty of Law of the KU Leuven which provides you with a specialised research based study of social security and social protection in the widest sense of the word.
Renowned professors from different European universities offer you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of social security and social protection from a legal, policy, economical, administrative and philosophical perspective. As well as being multi-disciplinary, this programme also contains a strong comparative element as it focuses on the provision of social protection right across Europe. You will have a better understanding of the many different approaches to social security that co-exist within the old continent and at the same time of your own national social security system.
Using an unique teaching approach, whereby classes and workshops organised in Leuven are kept to a minimum and whereby you study for the remainder of the time from home, allows you to remain professionally active while studying at the same time.
